Soccer Fans? In Columbus, Ohio? Who exactly are all those Black and Gold crazies every week between Summit and 19th Street? What is all that chanting, marching, and smoke bombs about?

The Hudson Street Hooligans is what that is about. We are a supporter's group for the local MLS team, the Columbus Crew. You can find us in the Nordecke, along with the other supporters groups, where we are in force for every home game. When our boys are on the road, you'll find us just as pumped at our local bar, Ruby Tuesdays.

The HSH was founded by a small group of friends in early 2006. They were looking to start a new uprising in the dwindling supporters scene for the Columbus Crew. In 2007, HSH started frequenting Ruby Tuesdays Bar before each match, eventually claiming it as our home bar. As the season went on, more and more people began to join and the the potential was beginning to show.

The off season for 2008 was a time of dedication to making HSH much more well known. Thanks to the originals, as well as much of our new members' help, the 2008 season ended with our membership exponentially growing. The Hudson Street Hooligans have set ourselves up to be the most elite supporters group in the MLS, and as we continued to grow in 2009, this upcoming season is looking to be our best yet with the addition of a new Club bar that will alow us to be open for non-game days and provide a new Soccer outlet for everyone in the Campus Area!
